We have recently been appointed to deliver three new projects for the University of Nottingham. Each project was secured following a competitive tender process and continues our established working relationship with the University.
Roof Replacement at the Campus Theatre
The second project will see the replacement of the existing roof on the university’s theatre building. With the current roof approaching 20 years old and showing signs of failure, a new covering will address long-standing issues with water ingress and help extend the building’s life.
Car Park Resurfacing
The third scheme involves resurfacing a car park previously used for temporary portacabins during refurbishment of the Nightingale Halls of Residence. The £120,000 project will restore the area to full use through a cost-effective and durable resurfacing solution, developed to meet the University’s requirements within a fixed budget, this is due to start on site in the Autumn.
Upgrading the University Boathouse
In addition to these, we’re thrilled to be working on the £200,000 refurbishment of the University of Nottingham Boathouse. Which includes a sensitive upgrade to the iconic Art Deco building, combining modern materials with respect for its heritage, ensuring the rowing community can continue to enjoy top-class facilities. We start on site on this project today.
We’ve recently completed new kitchen and welfare facilities for the grounds staff at Highfields Sports Ground. Contracts Manager Chris Race, along with the wider site team, continues to oversee our work on campus and ensures we maintain a consistent presence at the University.
