We’re currently delivering a significant refurbishment programme across six halls of residence for the University of Nottingham, as part of a £300,000 investment to improve student accommodation.
The programme spans Derby, Ancaster, Cripps, Nightingale, Lincoln, and Dagfa Halls, with work tailored to the needs of each site. So far, we’ve completed redecoration, new flooring, and carpeting at Derby, Ancaster, and Cripps — including re-vinyling 31 bathroom floors at Cripps (something we’ve become particularly quick at).
Nightingale and Lincoln Halls involve redecoration works only, with the addition of a full refurbishment of the impressive common room at Lincoln.
We’ve now started on the sixth and final hall in this programme — Dagfa Halls. This site includes five blocks with a mix of accommodation types, from studios to larger apartments, providing around 150 student spaces in total. Our team is currently redecorating and refurbishing all communal areas, ready for students to move back in as planned.
Set against an eight-week schedule, the programme remains on track for completion across all six halls.
