Construction continues to move forward at our new homes development in Bradmore, Nottingham. The scheme comprises three five-bedroom properties, combining traditional external detailing with contemporary structural elements, including full-height kitchen and living spaces and suspended mezzanine glass landings.
Over recent weeks, progress has centered on superstructure works across all three plots. Roof construction on Plot 3 has advanced well, with timber installation and ridge steels completed and gable construction progressing. Roof membrane and associated timber preparation works for the standing seam finishes are now underway as the roof continues to take form.
On Plot 2, the block and beam floor has been completed and masonry works have moved forward steadily. With the temporary crash deck removed, brickwork has continued at upper levels, and sections of the floor have been slurry-prepped in readiness for following trades.
Plot 1 has progressed with scaffold installation and ongoing blockwork, alongside preparation for the first-floor block and beam structure. Loading out, beam placement and safety measures have been coordinated to enable the next stage of structural works to commence.
Overall, the development is moving through its superstructure phase in line with programme. The coming weeks will see continued focus on roofing, masonry and structural steel elements as the buildings advance towards full envelope stage, with completion anticipated at the end of 2026.
